Nori, south
Florida's most innovative and original Caribbean
band has
just released their long awaited second CD. "Thisis a real
full production complete with horn section and background singers",
says Devin Marsh, leader and founder of the band. "Our fans
that liked the last CD will love this one." After working with
some of the top musicians in Miami, this record has brought the
band to a new level. The influences of roots, dance hall and pop
bring the compilation of all originals together to form a well rounded

EXPERT REVIEW:
Devin Marsh's sensitive,
but compelling vocals along with the draping horn work hooks the
listener immediately. The 11 tracks are almost equally divided between
love songs and sociopolitical numbers. "Insanity," "Jah Say," the
beautiful "Save the Children," and "Prevail," all seek to right
social injustices without bludgeoning you senseless. "Every Time
I See Her" is an infectious love infatuation that's suitable for
all ages. As potent, but slower, is the lovely "Star Light Star
Bright" which is reminiscent of Sunny & the Sunliners, the great,
underrated Tex-Mex soul band. Backing vocals by Jon Williams, Felicia
Branch, and Nicky Yarling sparkle like polished crystal throughout.
"Swing Your Ting," is an instructional ditty from the movie Golfballs.
The players are Marsh (vocals, keys), Tony Tomlinson (bass), Ralph
Hunter (drums and percussions), Clarence Charles (guitar), and a
horn section consisting of Ed Calle (saxophone), Jim Hacker (trumpet),
and Jon Hutchison (trombone). Marsh wrote everything but "Jah Sah,"
and "Save the Children," a Tony Tomlinson composition. Producers,
Greg Schwabe and Marsh have done a solid job with this release.
